Carol Lloyd is a passionate advocate for climate, education, and social justice. An award-winning author, podcaster, and communications expert, she has moved from journalist and editorial director to training designer and fundraising executive. She currently guides the creation of multilingual content and training across multiple platforms and leads fundraising for an established nonprofit. With a deep understanding of how storytelling can move people to think and ultimately act differently, she knows how to translate technical ideas into curriculum, media, and business narratives for multiple audiences.

 Her podcast on the science of learning was a Webby honoree in the category of best Science and Education podcasts and her award-winning weekly column Surreal Estate ran for a decade in the San Francisco Chronicle. Her writing on culture, science, and education has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Mother Jones, EdWeek, Salon.com, Seed Magazine, and on This American Life. Her experience is invaluable for curriculum development and the facilitation of events at ClimArts.
